Windows 12: Everything you need to know

Although Windows 11 is barely a year old, we have already begun hearing rumours about Windows 12, which we expect to have by 2024.
We have plenty of time until this next release of the Windows operating system. We take great pride in having learned what is coming next, so here's what we know.
Microsoft's plans to surprise us until its release are quite sketchy as is usual for the company. But we've been following closely how it could look. It won't be what we've come to expect.
If our research is accurate, we'll see a floating taskbar dock and a search bar on top of the screen. The widgets panel and Action Centre will be displayed on top of the screen instead of the bottom.
We don't think changes regarding hardware requirements will be significant, but they're not likely to repeat certain challenges that we experienced with the launch of Windows 11. That is because computers will be generally compatible with Windows out of the box.
As Microsoft has refocused on cybersecurity, security hardware required by Windows 11 may become more important as Windows 12 is introduced.
Among the most important things to expect is that Microsoft will make Windows 12 a smoother and more user-friendly version of Windows. Organisations will experience an increase in productivity as their workers will be able to focus more on their work without so many computer issues.
Our news updates will likely follow in the upcoming months. We’ll share with you the most important updates as we find out more from Microsoft.
If you have not yet changed to Windows 11, it's now the ideal time to make the change. We are here to help with that. So, if you're considering the upgrade, just reach out to our team here.
